Breakfast can sometimes be one of the hardest meal to get in for the day. Here’s a hearty healthy recipe packed with protein and fiber that will keep your energy levels up and going all morning long. Overnight oats is such a versatile breakfast you can really customize it depending on what you like. For this recipe it’s recommended to use a mason jar for ease but any container with a lid will also work, 10 oz is ideal. The night before your going to take 1/2 cup of oats and about 1/2 cup of any milk of your choice even water will work if you really want the lowest calories possible. If your not vegan 1 tablespoon of yogurt really enhances the texture. An added table spoon of chia seeds is great to get more fiber, protein and omega 3’s. I like to spice it up with a tiny dash of nutmeg and a tsp of cinnamon. Honey would be a great sweetener for this recipe because it melts better than sugar, add about a 1/2 tbs. Once you have all your ingredients together your going to shake it up very well until everything mixed together and if u have space add some fruits if not have it ready on the side to add in the morning and stick it in the fridge. Remember to grab it in the morning for a quick delicious and nutritious start to your day.
