If you haven’t already heard HIIT is the most effective way to burn calories fast in a short amount of time. Are you one of those people who feel like they don’t have the time in the day to workout? HIIT is the best option, 20 minutes daily is all you need to get your heart rate up and start reversing the effects of obesity, age related muscle/bone density loss and reducing the risk of preventable diseases.  If The top leading death in the US is heart disease and exercising can drastically improve the heart muscles and allow for greater blood flow which is a reason in itself to stay active. An easy way to create your own fast simple HIIT is to choose 5 exercises you like, for example: push-ups, bridges, body weight dips, planks and sit ups. There’s so many variations to choose from when executing the workout, one way is to do 30 seconds of the workout and a 30 second break and move on to the next until you completed all 5 exercises, repeat 4 times. It’s recommended to get 75 min of vigorous activity on a weekly basis and 150 minutes of moderate activity. Doing this 4 times a week already gets you to the recommended amount of exercise on a weekly basis and will help you looking and feeling better. Seems simple enough now give it a try!
